This was not a silent flight. The Deer had the entire meadow to itself and there was no observable threat. I guess someone must have either coughed or farted in a nearby village and sent the critter into panic mode.
I’m just amazed I got the shot at all. Normally something has to stand still for a very long time for me to get it in focus and un-blurred. Rocks, the Moon, and carcasses work very well.
