Native or Cultivated?


I recently snapped these at the side of a busy road…

Pretty as they are, these are the blooms of a common weed. Whereas this…

morning glory

…is a cultivated flower in my garden. Apart from the colour, what’s the bloody difference? Truth is, they’re either both flowers, or they’re both weeds. Which is it?
