Old English Expressions


There is an expression in England that goes back centuries. It describes a person who is desperately poor, bereft of money, and entirely upon their uppers. Such a person could be described as being a person Without a Pot to Piss In. As you can see from the following piccie, here is a factory that (although finding times difficult and subsequently down-sizing their production facility) still has a pot to piss in.
